FlinnPREP™ courses and FlinnSAFETY™ courses are set-up with responsive design to display course information in a way that best fits the screen that students are using. All course history is saved within the program allowing students to start on their computer and pick it up later on their tablet or smartphone.
Setting up a student account is easy and takes less than 60 seconds. All you need is your name, email address, and password. Once an account is set-up, students can access their free FlinnPREP™ course sample unit (free sample units are not available for FlinnSAFETY™ courses) , link to a teacher’s FlinnPREP™ or FlinnSAFETY™ course classroom, purchase full access to a course, or activate a student linking code from their teacher to access course content.
Students will be required to pass a 20-question assessment at the end of each unit to complete a course. A passing grade for an assessment is (16/20). Students will be allowed to retake an assessment until they reach the necessary 16/20 mark. Assessments are 20 multiple choice questions, randomly assembled from a pool of 60+ questions.
Once a course is completed students will be able to print or save a copy of their certificate of mastery.
After completion of a course, every student will be able to view and print a report showing how they rank amongst their classmates (if they are part of a classroom) and how they rank amongst all students who have taken the course.
